Hi Everyone,
Happy Thanksgiving...and shopping...I avoided the Black Friday crowds and mostly stayed home. That resulted in a bit more stitching time. I finally feel as though the end is in sight!! Here is an overall shot of where things are as of this morning and a close-up of Simon and a close-up of the flower in the lower right:

Of course, I feel as though the end is in sight, but the entire bottom section is solid stitching. A few more flowers to add, and of course Simon needs to be filled in with some gorgeous blues...and his forked tongue needs to be added. I also need to remember to add whiskers to both Lionel and Lenora.
It has been wonderful to have 5 days off and to have help with cooking. Last night our son made fried chicken which was wonderful and this morning he made a German-style pear pancake. I'm spoiled!! He and his girlfriend are driving back to Pittsburgh this afternoon -- wish them safe travels please. When they drove in on Tuesday night the weather was not good and they ended up hydroplaning and spinning the car twice on the PA Turnpike. Thankfully no one was hurt (including their two cats who made the trip East with them). The car was another story...$1,000 at the shop on Friday. But, again, everyone is safe and that is really all that matters.
One last picture of Tyge who was trying to help with cooking - lol. He sits/lays like this a lot with his front legs/paws crossed.
