Here is my last (4th) finish - Ann Wimp sampler. Stitched on 32ct off white linnen with DMC threads that are partially substituted with hand-dyed cotton. All sampler, except a few capital letters in verse, is worked over one thread of linen.

Here is my last (4th) finish - Ann Wimp sampler. Stitched on 32ct off white linnen with DMC threads that are partially substituted with hand-dyed cotton. All sampler, except a few capital letters in verse, is worked over one thread of linen.
Since I used a lamp with a magnifying glass, stitching over one generally was not difficult. But I made a counting mistake and noticed it rather late. As a result I had to rip out and re-stitch part of the border - a golden brown line and several roses.
