Ruthy Rogers is progressing and her tree has taken root and is laden with bright red apples. I am enjoying stem stitch, it is so fluid. Getting to grips with stem stitch opens up a whole new world of samplers.
Eliz. Cox has been hovering around the top of my "dream stitch" list for some time and this week I have kitted her up to follow on from Ruthy.
The next step for me on Ruthy is to stitch the birds and the sky sections. I really like how the chart shows the stitch directions for the sky area and breaks the large area down into small workable sections.
